As per the report of Turkish media, Fenerbahce are eager to sign two Manchester United players in the summer. One is United’s center-back Victor Lindelof and other one is Casemiro. Fenerbahce appointed former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho as their new manager in the hope of winning Fenerbahce’s first Turkish league title since 2014. Now, Jose Mourinho wants to make some signing to strengthen the defense before the start of the next season.
Will Victor Lindelof JoIn Fenerbahce?
Fenerbahce is looking for a new center-back in the team. The club believes Lindelof will fit in their squad. Jose Mourinho signed Lindelof from Benfica when he was in charge at Manchester United in the summer of 2017 with a transfer fee of 31M. Now, Mourinho wants him in his new club. Lindelof is in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford which will end in 2025. and there are currently no talks over a new deal. United is looking for new players for the backline. The Red Devils are primarily targeting Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite for a move to Old Trafford. Apart from Branthwaite, united is eager to sign Lille’s defender Leny Yoro. So, the future of Lindelof remains in question at Manchester United.
Casemiro’s Future In Manchester United
Apart from Victor Lindelof, Fenerbahce wants to sign Casremiro from Manchester United. Like Lindelof, casemiro’s future at Old Trafford is also uncertain. In 2022, former Real Madrid star Casemiro joined United for a four-year contract, with an option for an additional year’s extension. Despite his good performance at United, the five-time Champions League winner was able to win just one trophy with Manchester United. It seems like the Brazilian could leave the club in the summer despite having two years left in his current contract. Although there is no official deal made for the 32-year-old. Saudi clubs are also targeting to get Casemiro. As per Cassemiro’s current market value if Fenerbahce wants to get him they have to pay around 20M for Casemiro.

As per various reports, Manchester United’s starting budget ahead of the transfer window is around 50M. So, the club is ready to sell some of the players to generate more money for the transfer market. United believes that selling Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho will add a huge money to their bank. Fenerbahce is ready to pay around 10M for Sweden international Victor Lindelof. Apart from that Casemiro’s deal can make 20M for the Red Devils. This will lead to a transfer budget of more than 100M which United will use to bring new faces to the squad.
As per Turkish media., Fenerbahce’s sporting director Mario Branco will now travel to England to get a deal done for both players. Branco has been calculating to complete the signing of both players from Manchester United.
