Fulham Make Inquiry to Sign £200k-a-Week Arsenal Star

Fulham want to sign Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko and talks have started regarding the summer switch.

Fulham Target Arsenal Left-back

Fulham have made early moves to bring Oleksandr Zinchenko to Craven Cottage. They look to build a stronger squad ahead of the new season.

The club has secured head coach Marco Silva’s stay despite strong interest from Saudi clubs. Now, Fulham are stepping up their recruitment plans. So far, goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte is their only summer addition. But, the club is pushing to add more experienced heads.

Meanwhile, Zinchenko makes around £200k-a-week at Emirates. He has fallen behind in the pecking order due to the signing of Riccardo Calafiori. In addition, youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly is also showing his talent. So, the Gunners are now willing to part with the Ukrainian defender. They have set a price of £15m to clubs interested.

Fulham have been in touch with Zinchenko’s agents since early June. That said, the idea of a move across London is firmly on the table.

Competition Growing To Sign Zinchenko

While Fulham remain keen, AC Milan have also entered the mix. The Italian side is looking for a replacement for Theo Hernandez, who recently joined Al Hilal. This could turn the chase for the left-back.

Fulham are still weighing their priorities, especially with uncertainty around current left-back Antonee Robinson. The American has caught the eye of Al-Nassr. So, if he does leave, Zinchenko could become a key addition rather than just a backup option. But, if Robinson remains in place, Fulham may have funds to invest in other areas needing input.

The Arsenal defender offers great UCL experience and can play in many positions. That is what Silva may find useful through each week of the season.

Both the player and the club are willing to hold transfer talks. So, Fulham can wrap up yet another good summer deal. It will be interesting to see if the Gunners’ star makes a move away from the club this window.
