Jack Wilshere is aware of how difficult it is to progress through the young Arsenal ranks. He sees something in young Ethan. The rising star, just 18 years old, had a great introduction to the PL last season by featuring in 26 games and scoring four goals. But, Nwaneri has shown everyone something new this year while playing fewer minutes.
In the summer, the player signed a long-term contract. He was challenged for playing time by Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke. Speaking to talkSPORT, Wilshere said that he thinks Nwaneri has developed without issue. This is because he is good on the ball, good at quick decision-making, and calm in midfield.
For his part, Wilshere is currently working with youth at Arsenal. He thinks he has seen improvement in the boy’s game understanding and mentality. For a player this season who has played a total of 130 minutes, he has left that large of an impression on everybody.
