Liverpool’s competitions for Leny Yoro

Liverpool are not the only one who are pushing for Leny Yoro’s signature. As it stands, Yoro’s first priority are the Spanish giants Real Madrid with PSG and Manchester United behind them, according to Fabrice Hawkins via MacSpace. Liverpool are aware of the developments with the 18 years old. But they still expect Yoro to select Real Madrid over the Parisians and the Reds.

The situation is turning out like their situation with English sensation, Jude Bellingham. Liverpool were very close to sign Bellingham. However, after losing the Champions League final to Real Madrid, Bellingham made his decision to sign for the Spanish side.

Football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, however, tells the fans of the Reds to stay alert and keep an eye on the transfer news. According to him, the player is very much aware of Liverpool’s interest towards him. But he is waiting to see what happens with Real Madrid.

Yoro could be one of the bombs of the market in the next weeks.

Said by Fabrizio Romano on his personal YouTube channel.

Why does Liverpool want Leny Yoro?

Leny Yoro had a great season with French club LOSC Lille after they finished 4th in Ligue 1. In 44 games, he has managed to score 3 goals as 18 years old young centre-back. He is an incredible ball playing defender who likes to build up from the back. He is an intelligent defender who does not dive into final tackles but instead tries to predict the moves of the opponents. However, he has to improve his aerial duels to become a solid defender and be a part of a strong center back pair.

In the last season, Liverpool did concede many of their goals through wrong passes and poor build up plays from the back. To stop or reduce these chances, Slot wants to sign Yoro.

Yoro’s replacements for Liverpool

Leny Yoro’s first priority is Read Madrid and the board of Liverpool very well know that. He was at Wembley where he saw Madrid defeat Borussia Dortmund and win the UEFA Champions League for the 15th time in their history. So the Liverpool board have already assumed they might lose their chance of signing Leny Yoro. However, they have a list of defenders to replace Leny Yoro. Some of the names include Jean-Clair Todibo of OGC Nice, Willian Pacho of Eintracht Frankfurt, Ousmane Diomande of Sporting Lisbon, and many more.

But for now the Reds are waiting for Yoro’s decision and are keeping an eye regarding his situation at Lille.
