Man United are ready to sell many of their current players. They have now set asking price for one of their attackers at €45 million. He has registered 30 goal involvements for the club in the past two seasons.
Manchester United are in squad rebuild at the moment. They had a very tough last season due to which many players are set to leave. Ruben Amorim is not impressed with attacking unit. He wants new attackers and the board is backing him.
United have signed Cunha for £62.5 million. Now they are set to spend more than £60 million on Mbeumo. In addition, they are desperate to sign new striker who too will cost a hefty fee. Hence, they are in need of raising funds.
Man United ready to sell 22 year old striker
The star in question here is Rasmus Hojlund. He is 22 years old and has been with United since summer 2023. The Red Devils signed him for hefty fee from Atalanta but he has failed to adapt in the Premier League.
Hojlund has scored only 26 goals and picked 4 assists in 95 games for United. Hence, the Red Devils are keen to sell him. According to Caught Offside, they want around €45 million for the Danish striker who is wanted by Serie A clubs.
Firstly, Hojlund was top target of Napoli. But, the Serie A champions are now close to sign Darwin Nunez. They can re-enter the race for Hojlund if deal for Nunez fails. In addition, the Denmark international is wanted by Inter Milan and Juventus.
Hojlund is heavily linked with return to Italy. But, it will depend on if the clubs are open to meet United’s valuation. Outside Italy, the 22 year old is wanted by Leipzig and Frankfurt. This assures that Hojlund is very likely to leave United this summer.
