Man United are planning for a big summer transfer window. They will be very busy in the activity in both ways. The Red Devils will make some key signings but will also focus on selling under-performing stars.
Ruben Amorim will be backed to bring in players of his choice. The Portugese wants new additions in almost all parts of the pitch. He wants to rebuild their attacking unit. The Red Devils are set to sign a new striker and two wide forwards.
United have Liam Delap as the top target for striker position. He will cost them £30 million. They are also leading race for Cunha who will cost £62.5 million. Lastly, they will sign one between Semenyo and Mbeumo. Hence, they need to raise funds as soon as possible.
Man United ready to sell versatile attacker
The star in question here is Marcus Rashford. The 27 year old came through United’s academy and has played major role for them. But, he was struggling a lot in recent seasons. As a result, United opted to send him on loan to Aston Villa in January.
Rashford has found his best form back at Villa. But according to The Sun, United have no intention to keep him beyond this summer. As a result, they will sell him for £40 million. Villa are very happy with him and do have an option to buy. But, the Englishman is not convinced to join them permanently.
Villa have still not secured their place in UCL. Rashford can opt againts the move if they don’t play in Champions League. He is also wanted by Barcelona and the 27 year old is ready to join them. But, the Spanish giants are unwilling to spend £40 million on him.
Either way, Rashford is unlikely to have future at Old Trafford. The Red Devils will earn pure profit from his sale. This will help them very much in complying with PSR which will then allow them to spend freely in the summer window.
