Rodrygo is the better pick for Arsenal

Real Madrid star Rodrygo has the skills and potential to transform the Arsenal frontline. That is if the club is willing to make the investment.

Rodrygo will offer more at Arsenal than Eze

Arsenal have already made major moves this transfer window. Big signings like Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke boosting key areas of the squad. Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Nørgaard have added depth to the squad too.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze has also been heavily linked to the Emirates. But, Rodrygo is the smarter investment. The Real Madrid star brings a different kind of threat. His pace, dribbling and creativity have the potential to raise Gunners‘ attack to another level.

While Eze’s £67.5m fee has reportedly slowed transfer talks, Rodrygo might be available for around £78m. Although, he may demand higher wages due to his Madrid background. But, the long-term upside seems greater. Arsenal would be better off focusing their resources on a player who can truly shift games.

Gunners must sell before buying again

Despite already spending close to £200m this summer, Arsenal are still in need of a top forward. There are rumours of Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus, and Reiss Nelson possibly leaving. Now, Mikel Arteta needs at least one more attacking option.

Gabriel Martinelli has taken a lot of the load, and the team needs fresh legs and flair on the wings. Rodrygo, often benched at Madrid, is reportedly at risk of losing value if he stays another season without regular football. That makes now the perfect time for a club like Arsenal to move.

But, the Gunners will likely need to sell first to balance the books. If those exits happen, Rodrygo should be at the top of that list. He’s PL-ready and worth every penny for a side chasing major trophies.
