Turkish side Besiktas have enquired about Manchester United’s winger Jadon Sancho.
Solskjaer Wants Sancho Reunion at Besiktas
Besiktas are looking to boost their attack this summer window. Their latest target is Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.
The Turkish giants are now managed by former Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. They have reportedly asked about the transfer terms for the Englishman. The player fell out with Erik ten Hag and spent last season on loan at Chelsea. SSancho doesn’t appear to have a future at Old Trafford with new manager Ruben Amorim.
In the meantime, Solskjaer is intrigued by the idea of a reunion and sounding out possibilities for a move. The head coach was the person who signed Sancho when he was at United. Reports from Turkey suggest that Besiktas are tracking his movements. They are keen to strike a deal if the price and time is right.
Chelsea Exit Clears Way for New Chapter
Sancho’s brief stint at Chelsea has come to an end after the club chose not to activate the £25m buy clause in his loan deal. This comes reportedly due to failed personal terms between the player and the club. The Blues will to pay a £5m penalty.
Serie A giants Juventus are also in the hunt for the Man Utd player. And they are reportedly looking at making a swap deal for the English winger. Although, Besiktas are preparing to make a more aggressive approach under Solskjaer. So, they could be in the front seat to land the forward.
Sancho’s future is quite uncertain at the moment. But, a return to Manchester United appears to be wishful thinking. As described, clubs are already circling around the talented winger. Now, that Besiktas is in play, the next few weeks could be key in knowing where Sancho kicks off his next season.
