Reliable journalist David Ornstein has revealed that Man Utd are edging closer to landing RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.

Manchester United are close to signing one of Europe’s most thrilling young forwards, Benjamin Sesko. As per David Ornstein, he will be choosing Old Trafford over several other options.
Even though Newcastle Utd offered a better fee and UCL football. But despite that Sesko made it clear that he wants to play for the Red Devils. Talks between the two clubs are well underway at the moment. Although, Leipzig have not yet accepted the €85m offer. But, there’s a strong belief on all sides that a deal will be struck soon.
Man United have been quietly pushing behind the scenes. Now, they appear to be winning the race for the Slovenian forward. The player has netted 39 goals and assisted eight times across 87 games for Leipzig so far.
Man Utd attack takes shape around Sesko
The possibility of Sesko joining United is a good news for new head coach Ruben Amorim. The manager has been adding new faces to the squad this summer. He made earlier signings like Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, and young full-back Diego Leon.
Now, the Red Devils are surely keen to add another attacking option. Sesko fits the bill perfectly. He is young, sharp in front of goal, and already tried and tested in a European league. United also considered forward options like Ollie Watkins and Liam Delap. However, Sesko’s form always put him above.
