The Blues have defenders like Axel Disasi, Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile, Tosin Adarabioyo. Since 2023 Todd Boehly has been investing in those players whom the squad needs the most. Players like Cole Palmer, Malo Gusto, Axel Disasi, Moises Caicedo, Nicolas Jackson are the results of their new transfer strategy.
If they can pull of this signing, it will certainly be a good addition to the squad. Thiago Silva has left Chelsea for Brazilian club Flamengo. He has left a big void at the Stamford Bridge.
