Chelsea

Chelsea’s Noni Madueke faces uncertainty as the Blues are ready to bring new faces into the squad. Chelsea is keen to sign Crystal Palace’s winger Michael Olise in the summer transfer window. Initially, the Blues are eager to keep Madueke even if they secure the deal with Michael Olise. Olise and Madueke shared the same playing style and played in the right-wing position on the pitch. So, the question remains will Madueke remain in Chelsea despite knowing the fact that he will get less playing time?

Noni Madueke joined Chelsea in January 2023 on a seven-and-a-half-year contract for a transfer fee of 33M. Since then the 22-year-old made 46 appearances for the Blues. The Blues believed that the 22-year-old had great potential and could provide lots in the future for the Blues.

On the other hand, Chelsea are very keen to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace. Last summer Chelsea was about to sign the Frenchman before Olise signed a new deal with Crystal Palace. But this time around not just Chelsea other clubs like Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Newcastle United. Olise has a release clause of 60M in his current contract and Chelsea are willing to pay the 60M release clause to sign him. Will Noni Madueke Leave Chelsea?

Many clubs are certainly interested in Noni Madueke. Newcastle is one of them. However, no official transfer bid hasn’t made for the England-U21. And, Chelsea also wants two star players in every position. That means Enzo Maresca’s side has no plan to sell Noni Madueke right now. But now the question is all about Madueke’s personal decision. If Chelsea signs Olise, there will be no first regular first-team start for Noni Madueke. And as both players have the same playing style, there is no doubt that Madueke will get less playing time under Enzo Maresca.
