United Not Making Move for RB Leipzig Star

Manchester United are not planning for a move for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.

No Moves From United Towards RB Leipzig Striker

Manchester United have had an interest in Benjamin Sesko. But, they are not currently trying to offer the RB Leipzig striker anything.

The attacker has been on Utd’s radar for a long time. Although, as per journalist Laurie Whitwell via Talk of the Devils podcast, no formal talks or bids have taken place.

The Red Devils have been tracking the forward very closely. But, the numbers he produced in the Bundesliga aren’t enough to justify the fee Leipzig want. The price tag is rumoured to be around £78m.

Last season was a good season for Sesko, scoring 13 goals in 33 league games. Meanwhile, Man Utd have now shifted their attention to other striker options. They want someone who can produce better value for money.

Red Devils Explore Other Options

RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko is still a name that comes up repeatedly in transfer discussions. But, Man United are clearly looking at other options in this summer transfer window. They have already signed in Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford to boost their attacking options. However, the Red Devils and head coach Amorim is exploring more PL-proven talent ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Among the names being looked at are Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins. Both of whom bring experience and goal-scoring instinct in England’s top flight. Arsenal were once very keen on Sesko. But, they ended up going for Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres instead.

Ruben Amorim wants a new number nine to complete his system. But, the decision-makers at Old Trafford are taking their time. They want to make sure the next signing fits both financially and tactically. For now, Sesko is out of the picture.
