United Tracking Promising Angers Defender

Manchester United are showing growing interest in young Angers full-back Dan Sinate. The Red Devils continue rebuilding under new boss Ruben Amorim.

Teenage Talent at Angers Impresses United Scouts

As per reports, Manchester Utd are looking to move in for defender Dan Sinate from Angers.

The Red Devils’ scouts were impressed by the Mali U20 player. Sinate stood out with his dribbling, positioning, and technical ability. His versatility adds to his skillset. Although, mainly a left-back, he can play at centre-back or in midfield as well. This kind of flexibility is exactly what Utd need as they look to build a more adaptable squad.

The youngster has already gained experience at clubs like Alaves and Monaco. He scored twice in 40 games with Monaco’s Under-19s. Amorim is now in charge of United’s rebuild. He is believed to be planning for the club’s long-term future. Given that, Sinate is seen as one to watch.

Utd’s Focus on Youth Continues

The interest in Sinate fits with Man Utd’s recent approach of scouting rising stars early. That is talent especially from African and European youth systems. However, a move for Sinate isn’t likely to happen immediately. Coming January or next summer could see Utd make a formal offer.

If signed, he would join fellow Malian Sekou Kone, another 19-year-old who has already impressed Amorim. Kone was likely to go out on loan this season. But, he has now been kept at Old Trafford after showing promise in Utd’s recent post-season tour in Asia.

Amorim and his staff have reportedly called off Kone’s loan move to Lausanne. This shows their intent to give young talents a proper shot in the first team. The Red Devils continue to work with a tighter budget. So, nurturing talents like Sinate and Kone might prove key in getting the team back to the top.
