Man Utd youngster Toby Collyer is ready to leave Old Trafford in search of regular game time.
Toby Collyer Looking for Minutes
Young midfielder Toby Collyer is planning to move away this season on loan. He wants to do it the hard way. So, that will help catch the eye of Ruben Amorim through regular minutes on the pitch.
Last season, Collyer had already made 13 appearances for Manchester United in his first season of senior football. He knows that the team and possibility of opportunities could be limited at Old Trafford. That is especially given they do not have European football in their schedule this year.
Toby is enthusiastic about making the most out of his early promise. He wants to create the future he wants with the Red Devils on his own.
Too Much Competition at United
Collyer’s hunger is nothing new. He packed up and left Brighton at 18 years old to join Man Utd. He was betting on himself when others may have taken the easy way out. That same mindset leads to Collyer leaving on loan.
For now, he is still part of the Red Devils squad in Chicago. He is training beside seasoned pros like Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro. But, you might see him as he views the real test as playing regularly, something he won’t be able to do here. But, he isn’t looking for a permanent exit, just a chance to grow his game.
If all goes according to plan and he wants to returns as a more confident player. Then, he will be more ready to get on the pitch and put up a fight for a regular spot in the starting IX. He still has dreams of Old Trafford, he is just choosing the different route at the moment.
