Teenage defender Harry Amass is the latest Man United talent set to leave on loan for regular football.
United Set to Loan Out Harry Amass
Manchester Utd are prepared to let 18-year-old left-back Harry Amass leave on loan this summer. The goal is to give the youngster more game time away from Old Trafford.
After a promising debut season that saw him feature in seven first-team matches. That also includes key appearances in the Europa League and Premier League. Amass is seen as one for the future. However, there’s strong competition in Utd’s defence. The club believes a temporary move will benefit his growth.
Following in the footsteps of Marcus Rashford, who is also likely to leave on loan for Barcelona. Amass will be aiming to return a stronger and more experienced player.
Amass joined United from Watford in 2023. Meanwhile, Patrick Dorgu is securing the left wing-back position at the moment. New signing Diego Leon is also looking for places. So, Amass’ chances for playing time are limited.
Loan move provides major opportunity for the youngster
Reportedly, the club and Amass’s camp are happy with the loan move. He’s got two years left on his contract. Clubs are showing interest in him. That means that Man Utd will have control over his long-term future.
A successful loan move could make a way back to Man United. Then, he can fight and look for a first team spot. Additionally, he can increase his sell-on fee for the future as well.
The left-back has already showed his ability and talent to perform during his time with the Red Devils. Now, he has the time to deliver over the course of a full season. It will be interesting to see which team moves in and lands the youngster this summer window.
