West Ham to bid for Wolves star as transfer for Brazilian collapsed

West Ham

West Ham are now chasing Wolves player Max Kilman. After a deal for Fabricio Bruno from Brazilian club Flamengo for the summer but as reports are coming through the deal is starting to fall through, according to Dean Jones.

He has reported that West Ham are now chasing Wolves player Max Kilman. He is the new star that West Ham is chasing after deal for Bruno is falling through. Despite a lack of experience in Europe’s top five leagues, Tim Steidten seems to be a big fan of the Brazilian leagues and looked to have found a gem in Bruno. Bruno has 114 appearances for Flamengo since February 2022. He has recently earned himself a call-up to the Brazil national team.

It was during the Brazil and England match in March at Wembley Stadium, and he performed well against English team. He introduced himself to the European region. He has had good performances for Flamengo. But now it seems like deal of him is difficult to complete. They are now setting their eye on Wolves star.

It is an early transfer blow for the West Ham in this season. Especially with the summer transfer window still yet to open. Though this still leaves Lopetegui and his team plenty of time to find a new signing.

It was earlier, claimed that the same could be heading to the London Stadium for £ 125m, in the company of a news website admitting that West Ham could try the Brazil market after the failed attempt with Bruno but the best what Kilman can offer. Jones said

Then it is likely West Ham will try to salvage their trip to Brazil by tying up another deal there, and there are various ones they have been looking into. But more importantly than that I would expect them to quickly find a new defensive target, because they do not want Julen Lopetegui thinking this pattern is going to continue.

“They want to show him very quickly that he has backing and that signings will be coming in, but of course the terms around any deal need to suit Tim Steidten, and it sounds like this particular Bruno one is not doing that.

One deal to look out for might be Max Kilman at Wolves. He’s more expensive than Bruno. A pretty hard get. But I have been told recently that they like him. Along with a few other teams.”

Kilman now the target man for West Ham

A move for Kilman isn’t likely to be easy or straightforward. Wolves are having some issues with FFP (Financial Fair play), which means they could be forced to sell players. The board are clearly being active in the window. He may have to wait a little bit longer than initially thought. But Tim Steidten is hard at work.

Kilman who is cohesive in Lopetegui’s tactics, the Englishman would fit into his backline alongside Kurt Zouma and as a homegrown talent. It’s one less worry from eight over registration rules. Kilman’s deftness on the ball. Eye for a pass and creative nature would serve West Ham well on both fronts.

Kilman who is creative ball playing defender, West Ham could need to pay big money. Wolves turned down £30m offer last summer from Napoli. So, they need to pay more than that that sum is going to be high. Defense is one of the biggest problems for Julen Lopetegui to solve this summer, with Kurt Zouma, Nayef Aguerd, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Angelo Ogbonna.

The club want to show new manager Julen Lopetegui that he continues to have the backing of the board in the window, and attention could now turn to the Spaniard’s former Wolves captain Kilman as an alternative.

Now new Westham manager Julian Lopetegui has a big role of performing as good as David Moyes did over the years. His tactical strategies should be on point. He has support from the board. Westham will sign players as they shown by signing Brazilian youth prospect.

Fans at London Stadium are eager to see their team play under new boss Julian Lopetegui. He has good record of winning. Also, he has good record with working with youngsters in previous jobs. He will be looking forward to working with hammers at London Stadium.
