West Ham United have made contact to sign Chelsea target. They intend to sign the young player on loan this month. The player has already proved himself in the Premier League.
The star in question is Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson. The 20 year old Irish player plays as striker. He has been viewed as player with very bright future. Many of the top clubs have shown interest in the player.
Brighton are known to sell their players for right price. They can very likely do the same with Ferguson who has so far scored 17 goals for them. Due to his age, the Seagulls will demand a hefty fee for him.
Chelsea have shown interest to sign Ferguson. They are keen to sign another striker who can be quality backup for Jackson. Ferguson fits the new strategy adapted by the Blues of signing young players.
The Blues are not the only club interested to sign the 20 year old. As per the latest reports, they have been joined by Hammers who are desperate to improve their squad this month itself.

According to TBR Football, Hammers want to sign Evan Ferguson on loan this month. They have already made contact with Brighton in order to discuss about the deal. However, the Seagulls are yet to decide about letting their striker leave mid-season.
Hammers had a rough start to this season. They are sitting on the 13th position in the Premier League which is way below their expectations. They are keen to improve their attack as they have managed to score only 23 goals so far.
Ings, Antonio and Fullkrug who are all strikers are having rough patch right now. All of them have been able to score only 1 goal each this season. Hammers will definately like to add more quality to their final third in order to save their season.
