The Big Show: United vs Arsenal

Well, a hefty portion of fans would have preferred it if the game had not ended goalless; 0-0. There comes a point for a certain category of matches where one could say, “How could anyone claim the match to be boring? There was so much action and yet no goals.” In any case, maybe they did score. Could it be that defensive stands on both sides were just at their absolute best, barring any goal attempts?

Not so much of an empty scoreboard…with many opportunities for either side, and great displays from the goalkeepers denied each team. Players would sprint, pass the ball, and give their all to get the ball into the net. Everything worked like a puzzle: the puzzle was how one side tried to score while the other side worked to keep them from doing so.

Bright prospect of the Women’s Super League.

A ceremony to unite United and Arsenal presented a wonderful example of teamwork, artistry, and sportsmanship for the rapid growth of women’s football, and it absolutely had to be there in support of these great athletes.
