Bruno Fernandes is reportedly on his way out of Manchester

Manchester United

There have been recent reports of Bruno Fernandes leaving Manchester United in the summer. Although Bruno, in his recent appearance, did not drop any hints about leaving, he is not untouchable for next season. There have been reports that Ten Hag has given a list of untouchables to the united board. It does not include Bruno, as per reports. The list consists of Garnacho, Mainoo, and Højlund.

Stan Collymore on Bruno Fernandes

Although Bruno has arguably been United’s best player this season, ex-Aston Villa and Liverpool man Stan Collymore believes he should be sold. Collymore believes that Bruno should be cashed in before his market value decreases further. Fernandes, 29, has had a strong season despite United’s rough season by their standards. With only the FA Cup up for grabs as they get ready for the final later this month against city rivals Manchester City, Fernandes has performed well, with 11 assists and 15 goals this season, it is difficult to imagine where United would be without their captain. This is what Collymore said about Bruno:

Very good player? Yes! Captain material? Absolutely not,” he said in an exclusive interview.

“The fact that he hinted earlier this week that he could be up for a move away tells me that he doesn’t have the stomach for the fight, doesn’t believe in the future project, and wants a bit of the easy life—something you just don’t ever get at United.

“For me, along with Paul Pogba, Harry Maguire and Antony he’ll be a poster boy for the era at United where promise was abundant but excuses and not delivering were the reality.

“Sell and move on!”

Bruno has three years left on his contract. He is reportedly paid £240,000-per week. Therefore, it will be hard to find a team ready to pay this amount on top of his £60 million valuation.
