Igor Stimac has released a roster of 41 players for the Bhubaneswar camp

On Thursday, May 4, 2023, India Senior Men’s National Team head coach Igor Stimac published a roster of 41 players for the National Camp ahead of the Hero Intercontinental Cup.

The camp will begin on May 15, 2023, in Bhubaneswar. Moreover, India prepares for the Hero Intercontinental Cup, which will be held on from June 9 to 18 in Odisha’s capital city. The Hero Intercontinental Cup will conducted for the third time. 

However, the Blue Tigers are preparing for the AFC Asian Cup in Qatar next year. Moreover, will compete in the Hero Intercontinental Cup in Bhubaneswar next month. Before moving to Bengaluru for the SAFF Championship in June and July.

The four-team event will take place during the FIFA International window. India ranked 101 in the FIFA World Rankings, will face Lebanon (99), Vanuatu (164), and Mongolia (183). Earlier this year, the Blue Tigers won the Hero Tri-Nation Cup in Imphal, Manipur. Moreover, they defeated Myanmar (1-0) and the Kyrgyz Republic (2-0).

The following are the 41 players:

Vishal Kaith, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Phurba Lachenpa Tempa, and Amrinder Singh are the goalkeepers.

Subhasish Bose, Pritam Kotal, Asish Rai, Glan Martins, Sandesh Jhingan, Naorem Roshan Singh, Anwar Ali, Akash Mishra, Chinglensana Konsham, Mehtab Singh, Rahul Bheke, and Narender are the defenders.

Midfielders: Liston Colaco, Ashique Kuruniyan, Suresh Singh Wangjam, Rohit Kumar, Udanta Singh, Anirudh Thapa, Naorem Mahesh Singh, Nikhil Poojary, Yasir Mohammad, Ritwik Das, Jeakson Singh, Sahal Abdul Samad, Rahul KP, Lalengmawia Ralte, Lallianzuala Chhangte, Bipin Singh, Rowllin Borges, Vikram Partap Singh, Nandha Kumar, Jerry Mawihmingthanga.

Manvir Singh, Sunil Chhetri, Siva Sakthi Narayanan, Rahim Ali, and Ishan Pandita are the forwards.
