Jesse Lingard comes back stronger as he scored a winner for Manchester United against West Ham United, after coming from a horrific defeat. Lingard had to face a lot of bad words because of the defeat against Young Boys in the Champions League. Lingard made a miss-pass back to the united half which was collected by Young Boys forward scoring the winner in the last minute of the game.

However, after the last match against West Ham United, it seems United fans might forgive Lingard for his mistake. After a bad defeat in the Champions League opener, Manchester United was to face West Ham in the Premier League. From the starting of the match, the hammers looked very impressive, with more possession and counter-attacking.

Following which West Ham were gifted with a one-goal lead in the 30th minute. Said Benrahma had a shot that was deflected from a United defender and went inside the goal. But the lead was only for five minutes as Ronaldo scored an equalizer in the 35th minute. Bruno Fernandez made a cross into the box which was headed by Ronaldo and a bad save by the hammers goalkeeper led to a simple tap-in.

Going into the second half the game was managed by Manchester United, but the red devils couldn’t score a goal. However, in 89th minute United substitute and West Ham former player Jesse Lingard scored the second goal for Manchester United. The winger made a shot from the left side in the box to the right top corner. It was the winner for United, but the match would have a draw if Mark Noble had scored the penalty.

The Hammers were gifted a penalty in the five minutes extra time as Luke Shaw handballed inside the penalty box. But Mark Noble couldn’t grab the opportunity as he couldn’t score the penalty against David de Gea. Following this, Lingard’s goal was the winner for Manchester United. And the Englishman seemed to redeem himself from the mistake against Young Boys in the Champions League.
