Juventus star looking for Arsenal return this summer

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey is reportedly looking to return to the Premier League with Arsenal in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Ramsey joined Bianconeri after leaving the Gunners for free in July 2019. However, he hasn’t had a great time in Serie A since making the trip. In this season the 30-year-old midfielder made only 13 starts in the league, scoring twice and assisting four times.

The Welsh midfielder has a contract with the record Italian champions until June 2023. But, Juventus are looking to offload their stars who are on huge wages and currently underperforming. And Ramsey is one of them. So, they have decided to transfer list the midfielder to gain some money to rebuild the squad for next season.

Will Ramsey return to Arsenal after leaving Juventus?

Speaking to The Arsenal Lounge Fabrizio Romano said, “Aaron Ramsey would love to join Arsenal again, at Juventus he is struggling, he’s not playing, had many injuries. He will be on the market 100%, he will be available. If Arsenal want to go for Ramsey, they know they have the chance.”

Aaron Ramsey joined Cardiff City at the age of eight. And made his senior debut for the club in the 2006–07 Championship season. Over the two innings with Cardiff, the 30-year-old midfielder has made 28 appearances and scored three times.

Then he joined the Gunners in June 2008 for £4.8 million. Since then Ramsey scored 65 goals and assisted 65 more for Arsenal between 2008 and 2019, making 371 appearances for the club and winning three FA Cups in that time.

Ramsey is currently valued at around €20 million. So, if Mikel Arteta wants to sign Ramsey this summer then they will have to pay around €15 million for the midfielder.

It will be interesting to see what will be the destination of Aaron Ramsey next season after leaving Juventus, will he return to Arsenal or go elsewhere for the rest of his football career.
