Manchester United to potentially move for French Midfielder

Manchester United

Manchester United will be making moves in the summer transfer window. Sir Jim Ratcliffe is looking to make the club live up to its former glory. Making signings to strengthen the squad is the first step towards this goal. They could potentially make a move for controversial figure Adrien Rabiot. Sir Jim Ratcliffe has the Red Devils ready for a massive transfer window. Earlier, the billionaire from INEOS was reported to be working to strengthen the team’s core. Mentioned among the possibilities are the signing of new center-backs and a backup for Rasmus Hojlund, the striker. Manchester United are reportedly pursuing Rabiot. Moreover, the Manchester United side is repeatedly looking to find a partner for Kobie Mainoo, the young star in the midfield. Above all, given his experience, there will also be good squad depth.

Manchester enquiring about Rabiot

According to the Italian publication CalcioMercato, United is considering a free transfer of Juventus star Adrien Rabiot this summer. As his contract expires with the Turin club, he might be on his way out. This follows 90 Minutes‘ claim earlier this year that the club asked to be kept informed of Rabiot’s intentions for his next move.  Rabiot has been in fairly good form this season and could look for a move to Manchester. Moreover, he has already come close to signing for Manchester United.

This deal would be a good one for Manchester United. He is a free agent, which will help them spend money elsewhere. Ten Hag would love to have him as an option. Unquestionably, Rabiot will add to the United squad if he joins next season. He will be potentially under a new manager at the club. Rabiot managed to get 4 goals and 3 assists for Juventus from the midfield. Regardless of what happens, it will be interesting to see how this story develops.
