Tottenham ace Son is more than ready to face Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham and Arsenal face off at the Tottenham Stadium this Sunday. It is set to be one of the most important North London derbies in recent years. Tottenham want to win to be able to boost themselves and finish in the top four. Arsenal want to win to solidify their title charge against City and Liverpool. Manchester City look unstoppable right now, so Arsenal would love to keep the momentum with three points. Tottenham captain Son Heung-min is already a thorn in the sights of Arsenal fans. He has a great record against the gunners and will look to continue to have it.

Tottenham manager on Son:

Postecoglou said in his presentation that Son is ready to face Arsenal and about how important he is to the club. The Spurs boss told football.London:

“Yeah, look, vital because he has got the experience, and for at least two or three of our guys, this will be their first experience of a home north London derby.

“You always lean on the guys who have been there, done that, and excelled at it. Sonny has definitely done that.

“He has been a big-game player for this football club for a long time, and he’s looking forward to it with the added responsibility this time as the captain.

“He’s been outstanding for us all year, and I know he is looking forward to the game.

“To be fair, the whole playing group is looking forward to the game. They’re looking forward to any game at the moment because we’ve just been training for two weeks.

“I look forward to seeing how it goes on Sunday.”

Son has arguably been one of the best wingers of this generation, certainly in the Premier League. He will be focused and ready against the gunners and look to carry his team to a famous win on Sunday.
