Antonio Conte to manage Arsenal have been labeled false as Fabrizio Romano reported there has been no contact between the Italian and Gunners. Arsenal have been struggling at the start of the season as they lost their first three matches in Premier League. Following which reports emerged of Arsenal thinking of sacking Mikel Arteta and appoint Antonio Conte.

Arsenal lost their opening premier league match against newly-promoted side Brentford by 2-0. While they lost their second match against Chelsea by 2-0. And their third match in the Premier League was against last season Champions Manchester City which they lost by 5-0.

Following these poor results, reports started to emerge of Arsenal looking for options to replace Mikel Arteta. While the gunners’ fans were also with the same opinion about replacing Arteta as soon as possible. As a result, different reports started to link Antonio Conte who is a free agent with Arsenal’s managerial job.

Conte who recently led Inter Milan to the Serie A title after 10 years, left the job due to a clash of plans with the board. Following which he was a free agent looking for a new job and was linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid. However, despite all those rumours, he is still a free agent. And with reports about Arsenal looking for a new manager, everybody linked Conte with it.

But the reports are now labelled false as Fabrizio Romano shared there has been no contact between Conte and Arsenal. And with that, it is clear that Arsenal are going to trust Arteta’s plan despite such poor results in the Premier League. However, we never know if Arteta leads Arsenal to some major success in the future.
