Barcelona unable to register new signings

Barcelona had one of the best transfer windows this season. The Catalans signed the likes of Lewandowski, Kounde, Kessie, Christensen and Raphinha. The Catalans are looking to make a statement all over Europe. Joan Laporta has publicly stated that the club is back to its best in this transfer window. Despite the billion debt they have, Barcelona have been able to make big signings. But the story does not end here.

The 5 new signings are still not registered in La Liga after 2 attempts were rejected by La Liga. La Liga states that Barcelona will still not be able to register if they don’t offload their players. There are more exits that have to take place if Barcelona wants to register their signings. Puig, Mingueza, Neto, and Nico Gonzalez have already left the club. They are expected to be followed by Depay and Braithwaite or even possibly Frenkie De Jong.

However, Joan Laporta has reassured us that these financial things take time. There is no need to worry as per the Spanish President. He has reinstated the fact that the signings will be registered on time and they are working on it continuously. With the number of players that have come in, it will not be possible to register all 33 players that Barca have. They can only register 25 players for La Liga and those 25 will be decided by Xavi.

What will be Xavi’s ideal starting 11?

As good as a squad Barcelona have, they still need to balance their books to make sure all are available. In case they are, Xavi will have a big dilemma deciding which players need to start. Marc Andre Ter Stegen will be the obvious choice in goal. The defence seems to be reinforced by Jules Kounde, Christensen, and Marcos Alonso. Sergino Dest and Jordi Alba will be providing cover at the full-back position.

Sergio Busquets, Pedri and Kessie might just be the starters for Xavi. The 3 will provide a perfect combination of intelligence, Technique, and Physicality. In attack, Lewandowski and Dembele seem to be the undisputed starters. The last position is for any one of Raphinha, Fati, or Ferran Torres.
