Inter Milan, one of the top European clubs may be heading to Saudi Arabia as the club football takes a long break for November till January. FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be held in November and December. The final will be played in Doha, Qatar on 18th December.
Saudi Arabia is an ideal destination for Inter Milan
Most of the Inter Milan football players will play for their national squads in the upcoming World Cup. But many players will remain with the club during the break. Inter’s coach Simone Inzaghi is planning to organize a training session for these players.
Even the Saudi Arabia government is enthusiastic about this prospect. They would also like La Beneamata to play one or two exhibition matches in Saudi Arabia. Even the Supercoppa match between A.C. Milan and Inter Milan is scheduled in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Inter Milan is having a tough season
Inter Milan is looking to bring its season back on track. It is currently standing at the 8th position but has plenty to play for. In the second half of the season, everyone expects a better display of football skills. Inter has a talented team but somehow they are not able to click together.
In Serie A, Il Biscione will face Salernitana this weekend followed by Fiorentina and Sampdoria by the end of October. In the UEFA Champions League, Inter will take on Czech club FC Viktoria Plzeň and Bayern Munich.
Lukaku and Co. must pick themselves and try to bring a decent performance in the upcoming matches. If both Juventus and Inter Milan begin to perform well, Serie A can become a hot contest.
Surely, the long winter break will give Inter Milan team management a lot of time to ponder over their performance in the first half of the season. Some improvements are due and necessary.
