The game between Udinese and Atlanta was the highlight match of the week. Atlanta was leading 1-0 against Udinese at half-time. Fruto converted the penalty giving La Dea (The Goddess) a 2-0 lead over Udinese. But soon, Le Zebrette (The Little Zebras) struck two goals and the match ended in a draw.

Napoli destroyed Cremonese with a round-team performance. Moreover, they scored two goals in the stoppage time. In other matches played, Inter Milan beat Sassuolo, while Bologna and Torino drew with Sampdoria and Empoli respectively.

Monza on the other hand defeated Spezia. Importantly, Both Lazio and Roma won their matches comfortably. While Salernitana handed Verona defeat in a hard-fought match.

Clash of the Titans

A.C. Milan and Juventus are the two most successful clubs in Serie A. In this mouth-watering encounter, Rossoneri (Red and Blacks) defeated Juventus 2-0. The poor form of the La Vecchia Signora (The Old Lady) continues as they try to maintain their domination in Italy and Europe.

With this win, A.C. Milan moved to the fifth position in the Points Table while Juventus are struggling to keep itself afloat. Both Inter and Juventus have to pick themselves up if they want to salvage their campaign and finish in the top four.

Some very fine performances came from some very unexpected quarters. Argentinian striker Gio Simeone came from the bench and scored a goal for Napoli. Chris Smalling too played a pivotal role for Roma and scored an important goal in the match. Edin Dzeko on the other hand is in sublime form and scored a goal in each match for Inter Milan.
