Paulo Dybala Set To Leave For Premier League In Summer?

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Paulo Dybala is most likely to be on his way to the Premier League as Juventus have reportedly offered him to top-six English clubs. The 27-year-old forward is currently struggling for game time at Juventus and will be looking for avenues to prove his class.

Argentine versatile forward has had a rough start to this season, since the arrival of manager Andrea Pirlo at Juventus. He has scored just once in 10 outings, most of them coming from the bench. It’s a surprising stat considering the fact that he was the Serie A MVP last season.

After a disappointing 2018/2019 season, Dybala had been linked to Premier League giants Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. However, he decided to stay at the club he loved. With the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata, his game time has been reduced at Allianz Stadium.

Dybala Offered to ‘Top-Six’ Premier League Clubs:

Despite showing a dip in form, top clubs in the Premier League are after the Argentine superstar. Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Manchester City are closely monitoring his situation.

His contract is set to expire by the end of June in 2022. With the Premier League getting tighter after every round, the next transfer window will be very crucial for Dybala.

Manchester United looking to be the first in contention. Paul Pogba seems to be all set to leave Old Trafford. His agent, Mino Raiola has claimed that the midfielder is not happy at the club and wants a change. A possible swap deal could see United get a versatile addition to their inconsistent attack.

Last season, under Maurizio Sarri, Dybala seemed like he had come out of his slump after some really good performances towards the end of the season. However, after the appointment of Andrea Pirlo, Dybala has had to fight his way back into the squad.

Dybala needs a change for good:

Once considered as the next Messi, Dybala still has a lot of potential in him. He is a perfect attacker who can play in any position to destroy any team’s defence. Apart from having quick feet and an eye for the goal, Dybala is a hawk-eyed playmaker.

Being a ballplayer, the Premier League will be the perfect platform to showcase his skills. Let’s hope he overcomes this phase and continues to split defences.
