Juventus to extend Morata’ loan for one more year

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Juventus are reportedly ready to extend the loan spell of Alvaro Morata for one more year as the Spaniard is in the plan of new manager Massimiliano Allegri for next season.

The Bianconeri signed Morata on loan from Atlético de Madrid last summer for €10 million. The 28-year-old forward had a two-year spell at the Old Lady of Turin from 2014-2016 under Allegri, when the forward had his best seasons so far in his football career.

Morata started the season brightly in his second spell for the Bianconeri. He looked energetic and bright. But, the striker was diagnosed with Cytomegalovirus – a flu-like symptom that stays for the rest of their life. The disease came into notice when Morata fainted during a Champions League game against FC Porto. Which led to the dip in form of the striker as the season grew old.

However, the Spanish International has played regular first-team football under Andrea Pirlo. And the forward made 32 Serie A appearances this season, scoring 11 goals and nine assists.

Juventus to extend one year loan of Morata:

According to Italian journalist and transfer Guru Fabrizio Romano, Juventus are set to pay €10 million to extend the loan of Alvaro Morata until June 2022. The extension clause has been agreed upon between The Bianconeri and Atletico de Madrid, and it will be triggered in the next few days.

After having spent most of the time on the bench in Real Madrid as a young player. Allegri signed Morata and brought him to Juventus in July 2014 for merely €20 million. Since making the move the young Spanish forward straightaway showed his pace, skill and unselfishness in front of the goal.

Morata has never been a prolific goal scorer in his time. The biggest strength when he is confident is the pace, skill and aerial ability. The forward scored 27 goals in 93 appearances over the two seasons. The potential that Morata showed for Juventus in theose two years, forced Los Blancos to bring him back at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Now, the Bianconeri fans will be hoping that Allegri would bring the best out of Morata yet again next season. If that is the case then it could create a great attacking trio of Morata, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Paulo Dybala.

These three players can tear apart any world-class defence on their given day. With these three forwards upfront Allegri just required to sort the defensive structure out to bring the best out of these players for next season.
