Romano inquired about the possibility of swapping Partey and Vlahovic

Fabrizio Romano inquired whether Arsenal would consider a swap involving Thomas Partey and Dusan Vlahovic. That is in the upcoming January transfer window. Recent reports from ESPN have suggested that Arsenal is open to selling midfielder Thomas Partey during the January window. That is as part of their efforts to generate funds.

As Arsenal leads the Premier League, Mikel Arteta is keen to strengthen the squad for the Gunners’ quest for their first Premier League title in 20 years. According to ESPN, Arsenal has been identifying three targets for the upcoming transfer window. They are Douglas Luiz, Pedro Neto, and Ivan Toney, as Arteta aims to bolster the team. Vlahovic might be the new addition in their wishlist.

While Thomas Partey has been linked to a potential departure, there are reports indicating that former Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic could leave Juventus due to the club’s financial concerns. Both Arsenal sporting director Edu and Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli were in attendance at Monday night’s Golden Boy award.

What did Vlahovic say regarding the rumors?

In the realm of transfers, Fabrizio Romano, a well-known source, questioned Edu about whether there have been any talks between the two directors. That is regarding a potential swap deal involving Thomas Partey and Dusan Vlahovic.

As of now, the prospects of a move for Vlahovic seem unlikely. Since, the striker has been confirming his desire to stay at Juventus. He said:

“I didn’t experience it as a different summer from the others. From my point of view nothing happened. I have always been focused and calm, even during the tour in America, when I missed the match against AC Milan due to a physical problem and I have always been calm. The noises are always there, and they are part of the game, if we start listening to everyone, we can go crazy.”

Now fans will await news on potential updates of the future of Vlahovic and Partey.
