Mane has been suspended for one game for punching Leroy Sane

Sadio

Sadio Mane, Bayern Munich star, was reported to have punched fellow Bavarian Leroy Sané in the aftermath of Bayern’s 3-0 Champions League defeat to Manchester City.

According to BILD, Mane and Sane had a disagreement on the pitch when the former Liverpool forward was introduced as a second-half substitute. Mane allegedly objected to Sane after the game about how the former Manchester City winger had spoken to him. According to the narrative, Mane then hit Sane before the two were separated.

Mane may face severe consequences

According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, the club may take action. According to the source, the club is debating “all kinds of possible consequences”. Primarily the three mentioned in the report include a fine, suspension, or even total separation from Mané.

The latter may appear to be an extreme move, but the source also states that “several players are critical of Mané” and that they “don’t expect him to stay at the club for long”. It is unknown whether this implies he will be fired or sold soon. Therefore, it does not bode well for the Senegalese star.

Tuchel resolves the ‘Turmoil’

“I talked with them and we cleared the situation”, Tuchel said.

‘”It was necessary. It was a heavy incident and it was very important before we entered the next day’s training we cleared it clearly and communicated to everybody that everyone who was here training to be positive and be able to train all together.”

“This is not the first team for it to happen to and it won’t be the last team. For me I have to say how the players dealt with it and how both players involved dealt with it, it had a cleaning effect.”

Mane apologises to the team during Thursday’s training

According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Mane apologised to the team during training on Thursday morning. Bosses have discussed several possible consequences. According to BILD, both Sane and Mane were present during a meeting between the club’s officials on Thursday morning. Team training was at 11 am. He delivered his apology in front of the team on Thursday.

Mane suspended for Hoffenheim clash

An unfortunate moment for Bayern occurred on Thursday, when they suspended Mane following a dressing room altercation with Sane two days earlier. Despite being punched in the face by his teammate, Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane ‘ought the club NOT to sack Sadio Mane’. On Thursday morning, the Senegalese sensation was spotted back in Bayern Munich practising with Sane.
Bayern stated in a statement that he has been dropped from the team for Saturday’s vital Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim. Mane, who makes £17 million per year, will also face an undisclosed sanction, according to the club.

“Sadio Mané, 31, will not be in the FC Bayern team for next Saturday’s home game against 1899 Hoffenheim,’ Bayern announced.”

“The reason is misconduct by Mané after FC Bayern’s Champions League game at Manchester City. In addition, Mané will receive a fine.”
