The German giants have unveiled their new season’s uniform. Bayern Munich and Adidas have unveiled their new 2023/2024 home jersey. The sportswear giant says the new look strip is “celebrating the club’s unique connection to red and white”. The new shirt, according to Adidas, not only enhances Munich’s relevance with its signature colours, but also the club’s relationship to the city itself.

Bayern Munich and Adidas have unveiled a ‘red and white for life’ home shirt for the upcoming season
Lisa Datz, Senior Product Manager at adidas Football said: “The combination of red and white represents the identity of FC Bayern Munich – and has done so for more than a century. These colors represent pride, unwavering confidence, and great triumphs. With this new kit we are highlighting the importance of these colors to the club and can’t wait to see it on the pitch and on the fans as we embark on the next chapter of the red and white success story together.”
The new shirt has its roots in the history of the iconic German club. It contains the words “Rot & Weiß ein Leben lang” on the inside of the collar. “Rot & Weiß ein Leben lang” translates to “red & white for life”. The design has a sleek and sophisticated white base flanked by bright red sleeves. Nonetheless it pays homage to the club’s very first home shirt. It a tribute to the first Bayern squad which won in the club’s first season in Bundesliga.
The shirt’s on-field version is made of fabrics that will keep you cool. The garment, known as adidas HEAT.RDY, is designed to keep you comfy. In addition the replica jersey has AEROREADY technology, which uses absorbent fabrics to keep the body dry.
“The colours red and white have been with me all my life,” FC Bayern München club legend Thomas Müller said about the new shirt. The new home shirt, with its historic style particularly, represents FC Bayern Munich’s success story. The new shirt will be worn for the first time on the field against RB Leipzig on Saturday, May 20. However it is now available for purchase.
