In that phase, he did not get much gametime. Later, in 2022, he penned a 2-year-deal with East Bengal Reserve. Wearing the Red & Gold jersey, he took part in the 2nd Division I-League, RF Development League.

In his time with EB Reserves, the young goalie has stepped in on every occasion and provided a match-defining effort.

Playing in the first ever RFDL Kolkata Derby at Naihati Stadium, the young custodian got attention by pulling off a double save, including a penalty kick. This helped his team to end the match with a 0-0 scoreline.

Performing well in the big match, the junior custodian has also secured his place in the  hearts of the Red & Gold supporters with his agility, quickness and skills.

Analysing his performance, EB Management has decided to include Aditya in their Senior Team squad for the upcoming Hero ISL season. Consequently, he is going to reunite with his former boss, Carles Cuadrat. Patra is very keen to make his senior team debut in the upcoming season.

Hopefully, Aditya will perform well under the bars and establish his name in the Indian Football  circuit.
