Arsenal are among the clubs keen on signing Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and have apparently already made contact with his agents over the move.

Hot Commodity

Even if Victor Osimhen is set to sign a new deal with Napoli, there will still be rumours regarding his future.
The largest and greatest in Europe have taken notice of the Nigerian striker. Who is one of the hottest properties in the continent thanks to his goals and performances. Chelsea and Arsenal are two of them.

For quite some time, Arsenal has been searching for a new striker. They are expected to make an attempt to sign a top forward before January, with Ivan Toney being suggested as one possibility.

However, Italian writer Ciro Venerato has stated that Arsenal had in fact contacted them about signing Victor Osimhen, as reported by Area Napoli.

“The contract’s termination clause, which is already out of date, was the final obstacle. While 130 million is the correct amount. It’s possible that it might be 140 million if teams with high player turnover contacted him.

Victor Osimhen Contract

“By just one year, the Nigerian will commit to the Italian champions until 2026. Actually, it’s a gentleman’s agreement to part ways amicably, a prearranged farewell. Osimhen will receive a €10 million salary. In addition, a signing bonus is planned. Agent Calenda has already been contacted by Arsenal, and Chelsea is also after him, according to Venerato.

Victor Osimhen, who signed with Arsenal, is one of those acquisitions that truly stands out.
The “world-class” Nigerian, who Mario Balotelli called “incredible,” is destined to leave Naples at some time, which is why the big boys in England are interested in signing him.

You certainly get the impression that Arsenal, along with Man City, is only lacking one more component to become a formidable force in England.

For the Gunners, Victor Osimhen meets all the requirements. He is decisive, swift, and most importantly, entirely unlike whatever they currently have on the team.

Arsenal are so, so close to being Premier League champions. If they sign Osimhen, you’d have to say they are then favourites to claim the title.

Quite whether they’ll shell out a cool £120m or not, especially in January, remains to be seen.
