Barcelona loanee Ez Abde takes Osasuna to the semifinals

There is no shortage of attack talent at Barcelona this season since the Catalans sent talented winger Ez Abde out on loan to Osasuna. His dribbling and the danger he poses to the opposition have earned him decent reviews throughout his Los Rojillo career, having played against Spain in the Round of 16.

Osasuna advanced to the Copa del Rey semi-finals after Abde scored an excellent goal on Wednesday night. He scored in extra time after coming off the bench in the 69th minute. Additionally, Abde’s chipped effort, which found the empty Sevilla net, was disallowed for a foul during the build-up.

Ez Abde being the hero for Osasuna

It was Osasuna’s first semi-final appearance in 18 years thanks to Abde’s goal. In the semifinals, he may face his parent club Barcelona. In order to cut costs, Barcelona may consider bringing Abde back into the first-team dynamics next season.

The second half was a whirlwind of action. The game ended in extra time after Youssef En-Nesyri’s goal in the 94th minute forced Osasuna into extra time. However, after coming on as a substitute, Ez Abde won the game for the hosts.

On the other hand, Barcelona also reached the semifinals after beating Real Sociedad 1-0 in the Camp Nou Stadium. Dembele put Barcelona ahead after scoring a stunner in the second half.

Copa del Rey semi-final draws take place on Monday. Likewise, Barcelona awaits the winners of the other two games taking place tonight between Real Madrid and Atletico and Valencia and Athletic.
