Clifford Miranda, the miracle man

Clifford Miranda was born in Goa, India, in 1972. He started playing football at a young age and quickly showed his talent. He joined the Salgaocar Football Club youth academy at the age of 15 and made his senior team debut in 1990. Explore Clifford Miranda the miracle man.





The Early Years and the National Team

Miranda quickly established himself as one of the best midfielders in India. He helped Salgaocar FC win the National Football League (NFL) in 1998-99 and 2000-01. He was also named the NFL Player of the Year in 2000.

Miranda made his debut for the Indian national team in 1995. He went on to play 82 matches for India, scoring 12 goals. He was a key member of the Indian team that reached the final of the 1997 AFC Asian Cup. That’s why said Clifford Miranda the miracle man.

Miranda was known for his incredible dribbling skills. However, He was able to weave his way through defenders with ease and create chances for his teammates. He was also a good passer and a powerful shooter. They often called Miranda the “Miracle Man” due to his ability to come up with big plays in important matches.

In 2005, Miranda suffered a serious knee injury that threatened to end his career. He underwent surgery and spent several months recovering. However, he made a remarkable comeback and returned to the Indian national team in 2007.

The Retirement and Legacy

Furthermore, Miranda retired from professional football in 2011. And also He went on to work as a coach and manager. He is currently the head coach of the Indian Arrows, the under-20 national team.

Also, Clifford Miranda, a gifted player with a unique set of skills, is considered one of the greatest midfielders in the history of Indian football.
