Juventus 0-3 AC Milan Post-match Analysis:

The Bianconeri never looked comfortable on the night. They were slow to transition, moved the ball very slowly and lacked the imagination from midfield.

Juventus have managed only one shot on target throughout the ninety minutes. However, in the first half, the best chance came to Giorgio Chiellini, Donnarumma missed the flight of the ball and Chiellini had an empty net to put the ball but his header went wide off the mark.

Milan scored the opener in the stoppage time of the first half. Szczesny’s miss clearance went straight to Diaz and his right-footed shot went right into the top corner.

In the second half, Milan had a penalty after Chiellini handled the ball but Kessie’s penalty was saved brilliantly by Juventus’ Polish goalkeeper. Just when it seemed that the penalty miss penalty might be the turning point for the Bianconeri. Milan scored the second from an excellent longranger by Ante Rebic.

In the end, Chelsea loanee Fikayo Tomori put the nail into the coffin of Juventus after he scored his first goal for Milan at the 82nd-minute mark.

Notable Performances:

Fikayo Tomori: The young defender was superb throughout the game and kept Ronaldo and Morata quiet. In the end, his headed goal was superb as he out jumped Chiellini.

Brahim Diaz: The Spaniard had his best game so far for the Rossoneri. Scored an excellent opener and also earned the penalty in the second half.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Ronaldo didn’t have a great game at all. He looked out of touch and lack of service left him toothless in the upfront.

Juventus will play away to Sassuolo on Wednesday night in Serie A and Milan will stay at Turin and play against Torino on the same day
