Ramsey still has one year left on his Juventus contract. Thus, in order to terminate the contract, Juventus will have to negotiate a severance package for the player. Juventus has reportedly offered €2 million for the termination of contract. However, the offer has been rejected by the representatives of the player.
The representatives of the Welsh international are in Turin to negotiate with the club. They reportedly seek €5 million as compensation in lieu of the termination. The club has not received any offers for the player in this transfer window. Thus, it is important for the club to terminate the contract of Ramsey.
Cardiff City has expressed their interest in bringing the midfielder to Wales. However, the player seems to prefer a move to the English top flight. So far, the player has not received any offers from the English top flight.
Juventus will be looking to negotiate a compensation under the €5 million mark. Nevertheless, it is almost certain that the player will leave the club this summer. Where does his future lie? Only time can tell.
