Juventus are planning to bid higher than AC Milan to sign Kaio Jorge. AC Milan were keen on signing the Brazilian this transfer window. They have their eyes on many other deals and so there is a chance Juventus can take it from them. Jorge wants to make a move to Europe and will have a hard time deciding between the 2 heavyweights.
At just 19, Kaio has scored 8 goals and grabbed 3 assists in 60 appearances for Santos. He made his debut for them at 16. Santos rate their teenager who came 18th in the 2021 NXGN list. At the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup, he smashed the net 5 times to go home with the Bronze Boot.
AC Milan and Juventus have been busy this transfer window. Juventus are trying to extend the contracts of their main players. Cristiano Ronaldo’s situation is their highest priority. AC Milan on the other hand are going for a squad revamp. They are looking at the long term future and are thus investing in young talent. Well, Olivier Giroud is an exception.
Juventus want Kaio Jorge
Juventus is a squad filled with superstars. Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala, Chiellini, Bonucci and many more. Kaio’s signing will be as a back-up if any of them were to stay out due to an injury. His main rivals will be Ronaldo and Morata. They are willing to pay around €6 million including bonuses. Milan have many other targets and will not go beyond a certain mark to sign a player from another continent.
At Milan, Kaio will benefit from the experience of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Giroud. Both the veterans are surely not going to play 90 minutes for every game of the season and this could give Kaio a chance to shine. Minutes will be scarce at Turin and thus Milan is always a better option.
