Manchester United and Madrid to swap Pogba and Hazard?

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Paul Pogba could be swapped for Eden Hazard as per football ‘super-agent’ Mino Raiola. Both the players are struggling at their current clubs and a swap deal might straighten things up.

Pogba faces a lack of playing time at his current club, Manchester United. Still, he is one of the most crucial players in the squad. After the arrival of Bruno Fernandes, he has not been a regular player for the Red Devils. The Frenchman had been earlier in the rumours of joining Real Madrid or their El Clasico rivals.

However, Hazard is facing a lot of injuries after joining the La Liga club and has not been able to put up a good performance for them. He has three years left in his contract whereas Pogba’s contract expires next year.

Real Madrid might benefit from swapping Paul Pogba for Eden Hazard!

Eden Hazard joined Real Madrid after seven years at Chelsea and was expected to deliver at the new club. However, injuries and fitness issues affected the majority of his playing time. He had two disastrous campaigns for Los Blancos scoring just four goals in 39 matches so far.

In contrast to this, Pogba has been a superb player for the Premier League club scoring 38 goals in 201 appearances so far. He is a gifted player who showcased his talent in the 2018 World Cup for France and they ended up as the World Champions.

In an exclusive interview conducted by the AS, Raiola stated the possibility of the 28-year-old midfielder making way to Santiago Bernabeu.

“Of course, every footballer would love to play for Real Madrid and would dream about that. It’s a dream of mine, so why not one day?” – Paul Pogba after France won against Ukraine in 2019.

However, the swap deal may not get the go-ahead as Hazard’s possible reunion with Chelsea is still on the books. The Blues may be looking forward to re-signing their legend.
