Marko Pjaca will leave Juventus this summer

In subpar

Juventus has been trying to reduce the wage bill by clearing the deadwood from the squad. The Bianconeri terminated the contract with Aaron Ramsey earlier this summer. The Italian giants are also looking to sell Adrien Rabiot this summer to make some space in the squad.

Marko Pjaca has a similar future in the eyes of Juventus. The club wants to sell the Croatian winger this summer to clear the wage bill. The winger joined the Old Lady in 2016 as a promising young winger. However, Croatia has not been able to convince the managers for a regular spot in the squad.

Sampdoria is interested in buying Marko Pjaca. The Croatian spent the last season on loan at Torino. But the club from Turin chose against making the move permanent. However, there is strong interest from Sampdoria who want to sign the winger this summer.

Sampdoria has approached Juventus twice for the player

The Italian club has approached the record champions for the winger. However, the Croatians refused to make the move to Sampdoria in an attempt to force a move to Dinamo Zagreb. Marko Pjaca signed for Juventus from Dinamo Zagreb in 2016 and hopes to return to his hometown club.

However, a major issue here is that Dinamo Zagreb has not shown interest in signing the winger. The Croatian club is already filled with a good balance of experience and youthfulness in their attacking department. It seems unlikely that the club will make space for Marko Pjaca.

Nevertheless, Sampdoria returned with another offer for the Croatian winger. However, the 27-year-old refused to complete the transfer yet again. It is clear that Marko Pjaca has no future at Juventus. The club has also signed Filip Kostic from Eintracht Frankfurt this summer which makes it further clear that the Croatian is surplus to requirements.

If Juventus is unable to find a buyer for Marko Pjaca then the winger could also be treated as Aaron Ramsey. The club can choose to terminate the contract of Marko Pjaca early after agreeing on a severance package for the player. It will be interesting to see how Juventus sorts out this situation!!
