Fulham have confirmed the transfer of their midfielder Andre Zambo Anguissa to the Napoli side as the transfer market ended late on Tuesday. Joining the Italian side on a season-long loan, Napoli also has an option to make the deal permanent next summer paying €15 million.

Anguissa joined Fulham back in 2018 for a fee of €23 million from the French side Olympique de Marseille. Playing in the first season with the premier league side he appeared 25 times. And in the following season was loaned to Villareal as Fulham was relegated to the championship. And playing for the La Liga side he appeared 39 times scoring 2 goals. As the loan deal ended he was back at Fulham playing another season in the Premier League, appearing 38 times.

And now playing three matches in the championship for Fulham, he has made his move to the Italian side Napoli. Anguissa had no interest in wasting his time in the championship as he wanted to play in a bigger league. And now moving to Napoli on loan he has the opportunity to compete in Serie A and Europa League this season.

As per the official statement, Fulham have agreed on a season-long deal to Napoli for Andre Zambo Anguissa. While the Italian side have the option to sign the midfielder permanently next season if they pay €15 million to Fulham.

Joining Napoli this season Anguissa is an important and needed addition in the midfield this season. As Luciano Spalletti was seeking a replacement for Diego Demme after he suffered a knee injury. Hoping to be a regular starter Anguissa will look forward to performing well in order to impress the Italian side. And we all are also waiting to see what the Cameroon international has in his bag this season.
