AC Milan is looking for ways to sign Paulo Dybala and Hakim Ziyech. Gazzetta Dello Sport officially printed the news on their front page.
Stefano Pioli has requested the club’s owners to recruit more stars ahead of the 2022-23 season. On coming to know about this, the GDS printed their front page saying:
“Milan, two-star mission. A decent chunk of the budget to have two of De Ketelaere, Dybala, and Ziyech.”
Attempts to sign the players
Rossoneri fans expected something like this to happen especially since the club showed interest in an attacking midfielder. Hakim Ziyech is an outstanding playmaker who’s in Chelsea but is open to a transfer depending upon the time. This alerted the 7-time Champions League winners to reach out to the Moroccan.
The Italians are preparing to defend the Scudetto in the next season by strengthening their attack. With Giroud and Rafael Leo, the club wants someone to send the ball to these two wingmen.
And Ziyech’s profile perfectly fits into Pioli’s strategies. However, this topic isn’t worth talking about as Ziyech has extended his contract with Chelsea & doesn’t look like leaving England any soon.
The Argentine forward has been a free agent for a month. After playing for the Bianconeri for 7 years, Dybala has finally decided to call it quits. He has been on the market ever since and received offers from all over Europe. And AC Milan has been on that list too, considering their need for a goal poacher because Ibrahimovic is almost 41 years old.
Should the Rossoneri go all out for these two?
AC Milan has always been known for its low-budget transfers. The club never chose to blow millions on a single player. The last time they signed a player with a double-digit figure was Filippo Inzaghi from Juventus for £33 million.
Hakim Ziyech was considered ‘untouchable’ by Thomas Tuchel in 2021. The Blues manager trusted the Moroccan so much and he delivered on many occasions as well. What the situation is now, no one knows because Chelsea has seen an average year in all competitions.
Dybala on the other hand is open to any European giant who can pay him enough. AC Milan has shown a significant amount of effort in landing a new striker ahead of the 2022-23 Serie A. They haven’t stopped and won’t stop until they find someone who can score goals.
