Arsenal are willing to reunite with their former Wales Midfielder Aaron Ramsey. The Gunners have reportedly opened the door for a return of their former Welshman who left the club in 2019. Juventus are looking to offload some players in January to make way for other influential signings to revive their season. Meanwhile, Arsenal are also slowly finding their form back and they are eyeing for a finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.

The Gunners have implemented some changes in their squad for the past few weeks. Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith Rowe have emerged as two young and important players for Arsenal this season. However, the North London club have stripped Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from being the club captain. He was also dropped from their Premier League games following a “disciplinary breach.” Another Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette is all set to become a free agent at the end of this season.

The Gabon international extended his contract with the Gunners in September 2020, but he is closing on an exit from the Emirates stadium. Mikel Arteta’s side have won 10 out of their last 15 fixtures in the Premier League. However, the North Londoners could make changes to their squad during the January window. They are reportedly considering a reunion with a club legend.

Arsenal are targeting three Juventus stars in the January transfer window including Aaron Ramsey

Thomas Partey and Egyptian Mohamed Elneny are set to depart for the Africa Cup of Nations. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is keen on strengthening his midfield with a new addition or two. According to Marca, Dejan Kulusevski and Arthur Melo are on the Spaniard’s wish list for January 2022.

While Ramsey has been shortlisted as a potential addition at the midway point, he arrived at Juventus just 18 months ago from the Emirates Stadium. Meanwhile, Juventus are happy to part ways with the Wales international this January. He made only one start and came on as a substitute on four occasions for the Serie A giants in all competitions this season.

The London outfit heavily backed Arteta in the summer to make six major signings with the likes of Ben White, Martin Odegaard, Aaron Ramsdale, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares at a combined cost of around £145million.

Ramsey spent 11 successful years at Arsenal before leaving on a free transfer for the Italian giants. He singed a £400,000-a-week contract with Juventus in 2019. The Welshman could be available on a free transfer, greasing the wheels of a potential return to the Emirates.
