Arsenal now look set to return back to champions league after 5 years of not featuring in the competition. Having lost against Bayern last time.

Arsenal has turned around their fate this season. Mikel Arteta has turned around their chances to play in the Champions League for next season. Furthermore, with 3 games in their hands, their most recent win against Wolves could benefit them even more.

Arsenal and their road to Champions League

Arsenal’s start to the season was not upto the mark if being honest. With back-to-back defeats against Heilburn, Spurs, Chelsea, Brentford and a 5-0 at the hands of Man City. The fans lost their faith in Arteta’s tactics as well as the Arsenal squad.

Then came a turnaround in the luck of the Gunners. The whole time, the squad was missing stability and then they got what they desired the most. A spree of wins became and a bit of stability in defense gave fans some hope for the team.

Now with Carragher coming in on, predicting that Arsenal now really do have a chance to finally play in the Champions League. In an recent interview, he said

Carragher said: ‘I think it will be tough for West Ham to get in the top four. Arsenal, what a win that was for them away to Wolves. The games in hand, no European football.’

The team has shown the lost signs of quality. Without a doubt, there has been a drastic improvement in terms of their ability to move the ball around. Arsenal is a team that thrives the most when they can execute their skills in this particular manner which will come in handy in the Champions League.

As a plus point for Arsenal, who will be able to bolster their team for Champions League next term, their wage bill has been halved. And surely with their recent performances, they will be able to attract a few big names to Emirates stadium. What a wonder no!
