The motivation and confidence of Pedri will be boosted by comparisons to Spanish maestro Andres Iniesta, according to Barcelona boss Xavi. The Spaniard is often being compared to Barcelona’s great “Don Andres” in terms of their positioning, vision, and playing style.
Pedri had already received comparisons to Iniesta in the past due to his smooth footwork and precise passing. Moreover, Xavi did not hold back in praising the teenager’s abilities after his fantastic performances in Barca colors in recent weeks.
Praising the Spaniard, the Barcelona boss said:

He reminds me a lot of Andres Iniesta, I haven’t seen many talents like that.
