Bayern Munich is eyeing a move for another Premier League forward and this time its Raphinha. The German champions have maintained their form this season as well. The Bavarians are well on course to clinch their 10th consecutive Bundesliga Title this season. Bayern is keen on the 25-year-old playmaker as a replacement for Kingsley Coman amid doubt regarding the Frenchman’s future in Munich.
Raphinha is quickly outgrowing his surroundings at Leeds as they continue their tumble down the Table. Bayern Munich is all set to lose the services of Coman next summer. According to reports, Kingsley Coman is pretty reluctant to extend his contract in Bavaria. Meanwhile, Julian Nagelsmann’s side is planning to replace the Frenchman with Leeds number 10 Raphinha. Bayern Munich will try to lure the Brazilian next January as Leeds are only going to avoid relegation this term.
Leeds United star Raphinha has been his team’s saviour on numerous occasions this season. He has scored eight Premier League goals in what has been a below-average campaign so far for the Yorkshire club. Marco Bielsa’s side has conceded 11 goals in their last 2 Premier League fixtures. They conceded 7 against Manchester City and 4 against Arsenal. Leeds are just one spot above the relegation zone in 16th place with 16 points from their 18 PL outings.

The 25-year-old Brazilian would cost around €50 Million, which seems like a lot that Bayern would pay for a player. Raphinha will have enormous shoes to fill at Bavaria for outgoing Kingsley Coman. The Frenchman has scored 5 goals provided 2 assists in 15 Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League games this season. Coman scored in the UCL Final against PSG during the 2019/20 season and he is an important player for the French National team as well.
Leeds United have been pretty poor throughout this season. They have quite a small Squad with lots of Injuries to deal with as well. They have lost 8 of their 18 PL games since the start of the season in August but Raphinha has been their shining light during this Campaign. He found the back of the net 8 times and provided 2 assists for the Yorkshire outfit this season.
The speculations regarding Raphinha leaving Elland Road, especially mid-season, is a daunting thought for Leeds fans. The Whites are in 16th place after an underwhelming start to the season, the Brazilian has been responsible for netting almost half of their Premier League goals so far.
It is quite inevitable that Raphinha will one day seek a new challenge, but to leave the club mid-season would put Leeds into major trouble given his importance to the team and their current position.
