Bayern Munich ready to rival the Premier League clubs for Napoli ace Osimhen

Bayern Munich has reportedly entered the race with both Manchester clubs to sign Napoli forward Victor Osimhen as per the report in Italian outlet Calciomercato

The Nigerian joined the Serie A side last summer from Ligue1 champions LOSC Lille for around €70 million. After enduring a tough debut season at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. The 22-year-old has started the new campaign brilliantly, scoring nine goals in 11 appearances in all competitions. 

According to the report, following an impressive start to the new campaign. Osimhen has caught the attention of big European clubs. Bayern Munich is looking to make a surprise move for the 22-year-old next summer. 

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is looking to keep their star man at the club beyond next season. However, the report is suggesting that an offer of around €100 million. Might persuade the Italian giants to sell the youngster. Signing Osimhen might not be straightforward for Bayern Munich, given both Manchester clubs and Real Madrid are all keeping a close eye on the Nigerian’s development. 

Will Bayern Munich make a move for Osimhen next summer? 

Signing Osimhen will be a great acquisition for Bayern Munich. The forward has already showcased his talent in Serie A and displayed promises to become one of the best strikers in the world. 

The 22-year-old has speed, strength and aerial prowess which has made him an all-around forward. With Robert Lewandowski approaching his mid-30s, it might not be a bad idea to sign a striker who will learn the traits under the Polish forward’s tutelage and become the regular starter, following the 33-year-old’s departure. 

Meanwhile, after a great start to the season, Julian Nagelsmann’s side lost to Borussia Monchengladbach in DFB Pokal by 5-0. Following this defeat, the Bavarians are now knocked out of this competition twice in a row in the early stages of this tournament.
