However, the Senegalese international isn’t an out-and-out replacement for Lewandowski. Indeed, the club has faced difficulties to score but the attackers have turned up.

The Bundesliga giant is now on the lookout for a direct future replacement for Robert. Bayern has identified Marcus Thuram as a possible replacement. The France striker is an essential part of the Borussia Monchengladbach team. However, his current contract will run out next summer.

Bayern Munich is willing to offer a seven million euros contract to Thuram

Bayern Munich is well aware of the interest in Thuram from top European clubs, particularly Juventus. The Italian giant is trying to be well ahead of the curve as reports suggest that can even make a move for the player in January. Juventus will then have to pay a small fee to the parent club, which will like to let the player go for a small fee instead for free in the summer.

Juventus will also not be ready to match the huge seven million per season contract that Bayern Munich is planning on offering him. According to an Italian outlet, SportMediaset Bayern is ready to offer a huge contract to lure him. Bayern is also aware of the interest shown by Inter Milan who is offering a four million euros contract according to the same source.
